The entire program was accompanied by Mr. Jing Xiaopeng, General Manager of the International Trade Department of Buchang Pharmaceutical Group.

The main objectives of this visit were to tour pharmaceutical manufacturing plants, research and development centers, a cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease hospital, and a university under the Buchang Pharmaceutical Group. Buchang Pharmaceutical is one of China’s leading pharmaceutical enterprises, specializing in the research, production, and sales of patented traditional Chinese medicines. Meanwhile, ZBT Far East Sdn. Bhd. serves as the exclusive distributor of Buchang Pharmaceutical products in Malaysia.

The participating physicians are graduates of KL Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine and are also undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students of HUCMMA Malaysia. At present, some of them serve as lecturers at KL Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, while others hold positions as current council members of the Academic Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine Kuala Lumpur and Selangor and the HUCMMA Malaysia. In addition, one participant is currently employed at the IMU University, where she holds a senior lecturer position and other key academic roles.

At the conclusion of the program, the participating physicians expressed that the trip had been highly rewarding and conveyed their sincere gratitude to Buchang Pharmaceutical Group and ZBT Malaysia for providing them with the valuable opportunity to witness the modernization of traditional Chinese medicine firsthand.

Academic Exchange Trip, Three Gorges

Date : 14-9-2023 ~ 20-9-2023

7 Days 6 Nights Yangtze Three Gorges • Chongqing • Wuhan Tour ✈️

On 13 September 2023, ZBT organized a 7 days 6 nights Yangtze Three Gorges • Chongqing tour, bringing together a group of partner physicians for a memorable journey aboard a Gold Series 5-star cruise. The purpose of this trip was to gather Malaysian physicians for academic exchange, strengthen professional interaction, and foster closer collaboration.

On the second morning, the China–Malaysia Physicians and Scholars Academic Exchange Conference, hosted by Buchang Pharmaceutical, was grandly held in Chongqing. Twenty-five physicians and scholars from various states in Malaysia engaged in extensive discussions with Chinese experts on topics such as women’s health, gynecological disease prevention, and treatment strategies.
Ms. Liu Li, General Manager of Buchang Yijitang, provided a detailed introduction to gynecological cosmetic-grade and disinfectant-grade products, accompanied by on-site demonstrations. Malaysian physicians expressed strong interest and their intention to introduce these high-quality products to the Malaysian public.

Mr. Yuan Yingfeng, General Manager of Buchang’s Gynecology Division, approached the discussion from a clinical physician’s perspective, offering insights into how pharmaceutical companies can provide safe and effective products for medical professionals. He also gave an in-depth presentation on the modern manufacturing process of Kangfuyan Capsules. Upon learning that each capsule requires 22 days of meticulous refinement, Malaysian experts applauded sincerely, praising Buchang as a pioneer in the modernization of traditional Chinese medicine.

The conference atmosphere was enthusiastic and engaging, continuing from the morning until 1:30 p.m. Malaysian physicians also shared their clinical experiences in medication use and diagnosis. The conference was hosted by Mr. Jing Xiaopeng from the International Department of Buchang Pharmaceutical.

The itinerary included some of the most iconic scenic attractions of the Yangtze Three Gorges, with accommodation aboard the cruise ship. Stretching from Baidi City in Fengjie County, Chongqing, to Nanjinguan in Yichang, Hubei Province, the Three Gorges span 193 kilometers, featuring towering peaks and dramatic cliffs on both riverbanks. From west to east, the gorges are Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge, and Xiling Gorge.
The cruise called at distinctive ports, allowing visits to Fengdu Ghost City, Baidi City, the Lesser Three Gorges, Wu Gorge, and the Three Gorges Dam.

A highlight of the journey was the visit to the Three Gorges Dam, the main structure of the world’s largest hydropower project. Cruising along the Yangtze River, participants immersed themselves in the magnificent scenery of the Three Gorges. Every photograph became a timeless keepsake, bringing this remarkable journey to a perfect conclusion.

Until we meet again — see you next year 👋🏻
