In 2001, Buchang Group changed its full name to “Shandong Buchang Pharmaceutical Company Limited”, or “Buchang Pharmaceutical” for short, and completed the shareholding system reform in 2012. In July 2016, it passed the IPO review by the China Securities Regulatory Commission and was successfully listed on the main board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange on November 18, 2016.

History of Founder
Professor Zhao Buchang, who graduated from the healthcare major of Xi’an Medical University in 1963, joined the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in 1973. Distinguished expert on cardio-cerebral; famous drug inventor; the State Council outstanding contribution expert; supervisor of master students in Xi’an Jiaotong University; excellent socialism constructor with Chinese characteristics.

Professor Zhao Buchang has been engaged in cardio-cerebrovascular disease’s clinical research and medical education. His three medical inventions medical acupuncture, sphenotresia hemospastic method, and carotid perfusion method, which received much public attention and acknowledgment. There are famous- brand products, including Buchang Naoxintong Capsule, Danhong Injection, Buchang Wenxin Granule, and other cardio-cerebral vascular disease drugs, in Buchang Pharma, which is from his three medical inventions.
